Rainbow Hearts Foundation
RHF is a not- for- profit organization founded with the aim of improving the health and well-being of people grappling with infertility. The e inspiration behind RHF stemmed from the founder’s experience, journey and learnings while undergoing treatments for infertility.
Through and after treatment, her interactions with many that had and have similar infertility issues affirmed the need for her to actively take part in addressing the gaps in infertility education, impact on mental health and access to medical interventions.
ATTA Breastmilk Community
Founded in 2021, ATTA Breastmilk Community aims to end newborn death, through breastmilk donation while prioritizing maternal health and mental well-being. ATTA is an acronym, Alyssa Taha and Tracy Ahumuza that represents the mother-daughter dyad. It is registered in Uganda as a not-for-profit social enterprise, the Alyssa Marie Foundation, dedicated to supporting parents and healthcare workers to provide the best possible nutritional start for newborns through facilitating the secure donation of breastmilk, training, and community engagement.
Preterm Infant Parent Network.
PIPNU is a compassionate organization based in Kampala, Uganda whose main mission revolves around providing understanding, support and essential information to parents of preterm infants.The team recognizes the unique challenges faced by families with premature babies and aims to alleviate stress during the transition from Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to home.
